Try this 5 minute technique guaranteed to refresh and relax 🌟

Here's your Monday movement break! Refresh your
feet for a full-body reset.

Hey there, Reader!

🌟 Happy Monday, friends! 🌟

… and welcome to our ongoing mini-series, Mobility Monday! We figured we could make the transition into the week a little sweeter by sharing ✨FREE✨ wellness techniques with you all.

Today’s mobility exercise is all about creating awareness, circulation, and invigoration in the soles of the feet. There's a reason why everyone loves a foot massage, and it's because the feet are so richly innervated that some gentle stimulus here has a calming effect on the whole body and mind!

Another huge bonus: this technique, done consistently, can help improve balance- hugely important throughout our lives, but especially as we age and the focus shifts to avoiding falls and retaining our independence.

Give it a try, and let us know how it goes! At just 6 minutes long, this quick standing sequence will work anytime and anywhere—you just need a tennis or myofascial ball and a little standing space. (If your balance feels a bit off, do this near a wall or solid piece of furniture!).

You can follow along with this week's video here:

(** Please note that not every movement is suitable for all bodies. Please listen to your body and defer to your medical provider if you have any concerns, injuries, or conditions that affect your movement, or are unsure if a particular movement is safe for you! **)

We’ll be back next Monday with a new video for you 😉 In the meantime, feel free to reach out with requests for particular mobility or mindfulness sequences - we're here to help! Have a great week, friends!
